Carlsbad, CA – 760 Media, Inc., an international, advertising and marketing firm based in Carlsbad, California, is currently producing something most ad agencies rarely do; a multi-media awareness campaign, which is focusing on attracting new accounts and creating a buzz for the agency and its clients.
The campaign named “BIG IDEAS that work!” is being launched the week of July 4. It is scheduled to run as a market-wide blitz for three months and then move to specific markets and seasonal collateral. The campaign consists of a series of over-sized direct mailers, business-to-business emails, revamped website, new brochure, interactive CD-ROM, and a marketing kit, all of which are based on the agency’s tropical theme. The campaign is targeted at companies in the b2b, high-tech, bio-tech, telecommunications and consumer product industries. During the campaign, 760 Media will conduct aggressive telemarketing, public relations, and viral marketing activities.
During the second quarter of 2005, 760 Media built momentum by implementing a public relations campaign, including co-operative press releases with clients such as Ingram Micro and Elgar Electronics. The agency also started a viral marketing campaign by sending several of the agency’s staff to various business networking venues, which included volunteering at the Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce’s “Partners in Education Foundation” golf tournament.
”After working in ad agencies over the past 15 years, I came to the conclusion that other agencies just don’t advertise enough so I want to do the opposite,” said Jeffrey Donnelley, principal of 760 Media. “Most agencies rely on public relations, which makes sense but, to me if they are selling advertising, they need to practice what they preach. The reality is, good campaigns do work and I am going to continuously subscribe to what I am selling.”
Following the three-month campaign, 760 Media will measure the results, adjust the campaign accordingly and prepare for the next phaseof the “BIG IDEAS that work!” campaign.
760 Media is a full-service, advertising and marketing agency with capabilities that include creative design, advertising, direct and online marketing, interactive, multi-media, and public relations. Clients include McDonalds Corporation, Trader Joes, Ingram Micro, Nextel Communications, DENSO North America, Elgar Electronics and Palomar Technologies.
