Client: Palomar Technologies
Objective: Develop a domestic, international advertising and marketing campaign for Palomar
Technologies and their new microprocessor manufacturing systems.
Target
Market: Semiconductor manufacturers throughout North America, Europe
and Asia.
Project
Description: The object of the campaign was to promote
new products and brand identity, increase recognition for Palomar
Technologies new Microprocessor manufacturing machinery, each
piece of hardware selling for over a quarter of a million dollars.
At the time 760 media received the project, Palomar Technologies
received 30% market recognition. To raise awareness and the brand
positioning for the company we used several multi media platforms.
Along with a direct marketing campaign, 760’s team redeveloped and launched a new website to garner attention.
760 media was also directly involved in consulting with Palomar Technologies
Public Relations personnel to help further name and product recognition. Trade
show booths and multiple ads were created and displayed in North America, Europe,
and Asia. Magazine covers for "OptoMEM," "EP&P," and "European
Semiconductor" featuring Palomar Technologies new manufacturing equipment
were published and distributed.
Result: After one year of creative collaboration
with our company, Palomar Technologies increased market recognition
to 70%. The Director of Marketing contributed that "a significant
factor in the success of Palomar's branding strategy is attributable
to the creative graphic design capability provided from 760 media." As
a result of the Palomar Technologies ad campaign, 760 media received
the exclusive "Communicator Award of Distinction 2001" and
the Silver Award for Advertising Campaigns at the 2002 Catalyst Awards
in Los Angeles.
